Rust Mist Kurinuki 03

Inspired by classical Japanese ceramics, Sepideh’s Kurinuki cups blend tradition with exploration. Each cup retains the traces of her hands and tools — a visible memory of the making process.

Technique:
Rust Mist series are made of unique clay mixtures. In order to create this specific speckled rusty texture, unprocessed natural materials are added.

Maintenance: All artworks are unique, therefore always handle the items carefully. You can put stoneware Kurinuki cups in a washing machine, but hand-washing is highly recommended. Never put Rust Mist Kurinukis in a microwave.
